Warm Welcome to Our Newest Scholastics from Fordham University's Ciszek Hall!

Our Thrive For Life community is growing! We're thrilled to announce that two bright and passionate Jesuit Scholastics from Fordham University's Ciszek Hall have joined our ranks.

Recently, a group of Jesuit Scholastics had the unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with the soul of our mission. Our very own Italo from the Abraham House community was at the helm of this meet, highlighting the stories and essence that make Thrive For Life an embodiment of hope and transformation.

And from this vibrant group, Ryan Cruise, SJ and José Lopez, SJ have taken the step to be an active part of the Thrive For Life Ministry. Their fervor and commitment shine through, and we're excited about the fresh perspectives they bring to the table.

An interesting tidbit: Both Ryan and José harbor aspirations of working behind the imposing walls of Rikers in the future. We've initiated the lengthy process of permissions to turn this aspiration into reality, ensuring that their zeal can make a tangible difference.

Our liaison from Ciszek Hall, Kevin, extends his unwavering support and gratitude. This addition isn't just a matter of numbers. It signifies a strengthened bond with the Jesuit community, a relationship we deeply cherish.

Let's come together to offer Ryan and José a heartwarming welcome! Their journey with us has just begun, and we anticipate a harmonious blend of their fresh outlook with our foundational values.
