Fr. Zach Presutti, SJ Recognized as 2023 Humanitarian Honoree by Columbus Citizens Foundation

In an inspiring affirmation of our mission, Thrive For Life Prison Project is proud to share that our Founder and Executive Director, Fr. Zach Presutti, SJ, has been honored by the Columbus Citizens Foundation as this year's Humanitarian Award honoree. This esteemed accolade acknowledges Thrive For Life’s devotion in supporting our brothers and sisters behind and beyond prison walls as they continue the good work of education.

Fr. Zach will be celebrated alongside other distinguished personalities at the grand Columbus Citizens Gala. Scheduled for October 7, 2023, the event will take place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York. The evening promises to be a joyous evening of celebration, featuring other luminaries such as the 2023 Grand Marshal Beth Paretta and honorees Don T. DeCarlo, Tom DiNapoli, and Janet DiFiore.

Since 2016, Thrive For Life Prison Project has catalyzed meaningful transformations, striving to provide a comprehensive continuity of care for our returning brothers and sisters. We are grateful for Fr. Zach and our entire team’s steadfast vision and commitment which have not only played an important role in many lives, but have also significantly contributed to building bridges of understanding and healing in the wider community.

Importantly, the Columbus Citizens Foundation continues its tradition of championing education. The proceeds from the Gala will directly contribute to the Foundation’s Scholarship Fund. In many ways, supporting this event means championing an accessible education for many deserving students.

Together, we continue our journey to transform lives behind and beyond the prison walls. We extend our special thanks to the Columbus Citizens Foundation for this honor and for their ongoing care for our mission!
