Thrive For Life Takes 2nd Place in 2023 Morgan Stanley Strategy Challenge!

Thrive For Life is excited to share that we took 2nd place in this year’s Morgan Stanley Strategy Challenge! This achievement bears witness to the dedication and talent of our exceptional consulting team from Morgan Stanley: Kirsty, James, Adam, Miranda, and Mike.

Over the past ten weeks, these diligent professionals from Morgan Stanley have extended their expertise through pro bono consulting services. Their work covered crucial topics including organizational expansion, strategic scaling, and enhancing efficiency and effectiveness through improved business and program models. Their invaluable contributions have been instrumental in developing a strategic plan for Thrive For Life, targeting our expansion both within New York and across the nation.

It is indeed an honor to have been chosen to participate in this year's challenge alongside nine other nonprofits serving our greater community. The dedication of Kirsty, James, Adam, Miranda, and Mike highlights the quality and value of the work carried out by our Morgan Stanley team. Their unwavering commitment and expertise have been truly a live-giving grace, fueling our mission to replicate the Ignacio House of Studies model so that we may accompany more of our brothers and sisters continuing the good work of education.

The Challenge concluded with a celebratory event at Morgan Stanley’s New York headquarters where teams had the opportunity to present their recommendations to nonprofit sector experts and senior leaders at the Firm. Our team, guided by their professional acumen, presented a compelling vision for our future growth.

We are immensely grateful to Morgan Stanley and The Bridgespan Group for facilitating such a transformative program. This initiative not only provided valuable guidance at a crucial juncture of our growth but also offered a platform to foster meaningful collaborations.

As we look forward to the journey ahead, we are inspired by the dedication, talent, and spirit of our consultants Kirsty, James, Adam, Miranda, and Mike. Their significant contribution to our project has undoubtedly been a major factor in this noteworthy achievement. With such devoted partners, we are confident in continuing to transform lives both behind and beyond the prison walls.
