Resident Scholar Robert Speaks at IVC Madonna della Strada Awards

Thrive For Life is delighted to share a heartwarming highlight from this past month's Ignatian Volunteer Corps's Annual Madonna della Strada Award Ceremony. This year, we had the privilege of being honored for our work both behind and beyond the prison walls. We also had the opportunity to celebrate the contributions of our own IVC volunteers—Nina, David, and Dennis—and all they do to bring life to our day to day work.

During the presentation, one of our own resident scholars, Robert, shared his own personal story of transformation. His journey of resilience and determination served as a testament to the transformative power of education and the supportive community that Ignacio House nurtures. As we continue our mission at Thrive For Life, stories like Robert's reinvigorate our commitment to create more opportunities for transformation and positive change.

We extend our profound appreciation to our dedicated IVC volunteers: Nina, David, and Dennis. Their contributions to our mission have been instrumental, and their impact is evident in the successes of resident scholars like Robert.

We also wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to Maureen Fullam and the entire team at the Ignatian Volunteer Corps for their meticulous planning and execution of this memorable evening. Their relentless dedication and support towards our shared cause make a significant difference in the lives of the individuals we serve.
