Building Community in Milwaukee!

This past month, Thrive For Life was thrilled to visit our friends and partners in Milwaukee as we anticipate the launch of our house of studies this Fall! We were grateful to welcome members of the community to visit our house and learn more about our plans to begin our retreat ministry behind the walls in two prisons in the greater Milwaukee and Racine area.  Thrive For Life was especially glad to welcome Wisconsin Secretary for Corrections Kevin Carr who graciously shared his words of support for our work as we get started.

This event, graciously organized by friends and partners of Thrive For Life, offered a glimpse into the promising future of the house. As we shared our vision and plans, the excitement for the upcoming academic year was palpable. Discussions centered on preparation for the arrival of our first cohort of scholars this fall, who will be stepping into a community eager to embrace and support them.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who played a role in making the event a success. Their commitment to helping Thrive For Life’s mission flourish in Milwaukee is the foundation upon which we will build a thriving educational environment for our scholars. As we look to the future, we are encouraged by the strong partnerships we have formed and are excited for what’s to come!
